Why does the Lake Tahoe Camp Meeting start on a Monday? |
Are tents provided for campers to rent? |
No. You may bring your tent or camper and stay on the grounds, or reserve lodgings nearby. The campgrounds include shower and bathroom facilities. There is RV camping with full and partial hookups available at the campground. |
Are pets allowed on the campgrounds? |
Pets are welcome; however, all dogs, no matter the size, age, or behavior, must be on a leash at all times when on the camp ground property. Dogs cannot be left unattended. No pets are allowed in any building or recreation area (i.e. swimming pool, tennis court or playground areas). All pet droppings must be picked up and disposed of properly by each pet owner or pet walker |
May I bring my bicycle? |
Please ask for bicycle rules when making your reservations |
Are meals available? |
Food service will be available all those who wish good hot meals. Anyone, campers—RVers—those staying in motels—can all enjoy these delicious meals three times daily. Sabbath meal tickets will be sold until Friday noon. |
What is available for children and young people? |
There will be daily programming for all ages from Cradle Roll to Teens. The activities will include stories, music, crafts and outings, which will be age appropriate, for the little ones and up to juniors. Christ centered presentations, music, outings and another Luau on the beach are being planned for the teens. Click here for the schedule. |
Why do campers keep returning, year after year? |
The Lake Tahoe Camp Meeting is organized by Seventh-day Adventist church members in California and Nevada and approved by the Nevada-Utah Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It is supported by free-will offerings of those who wish to see this ministry continue. We're small, have a beautiful location among the trees along the shores of Lake Tahoe, and enjoy this wonderful opportunity to come away and rest awhile, fellowship with other believers, and learn what it means to be "Heaven Bound." |
What else can I find there? |
You will find Ministry Lane a fascinating place to learn about Academies, Colleges and self-supporting gospel work. If you would like to have a booth, we’ll be happy to send you an application. |
